Rain Barrel Workshop
Presented by Gunpowder Valley Conservancy and Harford Land Trust
Saturday, September 14, 2024 – 10 am – 12 pm
SCHLEHR PAVILION (near Rockfield Manor) – E Churchville Road, Bel Air 21014
COST: $35/PER HOUSEHOLD (includes one rain barrel, 55-gallon capacity with PVC elbow to attach to your downspout.)
Rain barrels help reduce pollution in our local creeks and streams. The water collected in rain barrels can irrigate lawns and gardens, wash cars, or infiltrate back into the ground during drier periods.
Join Harford Land Trust and the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) for a workshop to learn more about rain barrel benefits and proper assembly and maintenance. This workshop is geared towards homeowners, businesses, and/or faith-based organizations interested in conserving water while reducing stormwater runoff from their property.
