Coloring Pages
Hummingbird– You get to drink sugary nectar all the time, which is great because you’re going to need all that energy! You beat your wings 10-15 times per second! Exhausting!
Ladybug– You are quite fashionable with shiny red wings and black polka-dots that scare away predators! When you feel threatened you bleed from your knees. Wow!
Bat– You’re nocturnal, so you sleep during the day and are awake at night. When you sleep, you do it upside down, with your wings wrapped around you like a sleeping bag.
Bumblebee– You keep track of the flowers you’ve visited by scent-marking them. Clever! When temperatures drop, you take it easy and hibernate underground.
Butterfly– You taste food with your feet, and you slurp it up with your long, curly tongue! Your family is big, with almost 20,000 different species! That’s a lot of cousins!
