Lawn Alternatives for the Bees
Saturday, May 6
1 pm – 2:30 pm
Darlington Library
Concerned about the native bee populations? We will show research on how homeowners can create a ‘Bee Lawn’. Redefining the term ‘weed’ is an essential starting place. Then we will look at how we can incorporate more perennial, bee-friendly flowers into a mowed lawn.
This program is put on by the Harford County Master Gardeners and hosted at the Darlington Library, registration is required to attend the program.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be held in the Susquehanna Room at the Harford County Agricultural Center at 3525 Conowingo Road, next door to the branch.
